ELC Scholarship Program Overview

The ELC offers sixteen undergraduate scholarships under its program which are open to high-achieving Black undergraduate students attending a four-year college or university.

Program Overview

Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership skills, and a commitment to community service. In addition to receiving a scholarship award, selected recipients are invited to participate in The ELC’s Honors Symposium, a multi-day professional development experience offering exclusive career development and networking opportunities.

ALVARO L. MARTINS SCHOLARShip

Supported by

The Alvaro L. Martins scholarship was created in honor of The Executive Leadership Council’s first President and CEO and founding member, and alumnus of Howard University. The Alvaro L. Martins scholarship is open to high-achieving undergraduate Black male students attending one of the nation’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

Ann Fudge Scholarship

Supported by

Named after the first woman chair of The Council and former chairman and CEO of Young & Rubicam Brands, the Ann Fudge Scholarship is open to high-achieving undergraduate Black female students attending one of the nation’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

Award for Excellence in Business Commentary Scholarship

Sponsored by The Coca-Cola Foundation, this scholarship is awarded to high-achieving undergraduate Black students attending a four-year college or university.

Bristol Myers Squibb HBCU Scholarship

Sponsored by Bristol Myers Squibb, this scholarship is awarded to high-achieving Black students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, a commitment to innovation and are pursuing a degree in Business or STEM at a Historically Black College or University (HBCU).

Brunswick Corporation Undergraduate Scholarship and Leadership Development Program

Sponsored by Chevron, this scholarship is awarded to high-achieving Black students enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university pursuing a degree in a STEM and business field of study. This scholarship opportunity is open to rising sophomores currently classified as freshmen at the time of their application submission.

Johnson & Johnson Scholarship and Career Development Program

Sponsored by Nationwide, this scholarship is awarded to high-achieving Black students attending a four-year college or university pursuing degrees in risk management and insurance, data analytics, insurance, finance, accounting, IT/Technology, Actuarial Science, HR/Organizational Development, Cybersecurity, Computer Information Systems or related fields to the aforementioned areas. This scholarship opportunity is open to rising juniors currently classified as sophomores at the time of their application submission.

Raytheon Technologies Scholarship

This scholarship opportunity is open to rising juniors and seniors currently classified as sophomores or juniors at the time of their application submission.
