2022 Brunswick Corporation Undergraduate Scholars
Sponsored by the Brunswick Corporation, this scholarship is awarded to high-achieving undergraduate Black students who are enrolled in an accredited four-year college pursuing a degree in STEM or marketing.
Claudia Duverglas
Claudia Duverglas is a supply chain management student at North Carolina A&T State University. On campus, Claudia serves as the President of Waves of Change HBCU, Inc., an organization dedicated to uplifting the Black community through environmental sustainability and education. Claudia has interned with Apple, Volvo Group, Meta, and PCX in a variety of roles. Claudia also loves to participate in case study competitions with Thurgood Marshall College Fund and Amazon Prime Video. In her free time, Claudia enjoys spending time with friends and family, weightlifting, traveling, and practicing self care.
Jaida Headley
Jaida Headley is a recent transfer in the school of business at the University of Miami, studying marketing with a minor in music. On-campus, Jaida served as a student panelist at the University of Wisconsin- Madison Center of Healthy Minds and is the lead graphic designer of the Black Student Union. Outside of school, Jaida works as the community involvement intern at Direct Supply and as the lead marketing assistant at MKExpanded, a music marketing label. Locally, she aids to fight food insecurity with the Hunger Task Force, and works with the Milwaukee Justice Center. In her spare time, she enjoys going to concerts, painting, and traveling. Jaida plans to become a creative marketing director in the music industry and to own a record company.
