Sponsored by ADM, this scholarship is awarded to high-achieving undergraduate Black students who are enrolled in an accredited four-year college pursuing a degree in business, engineering, technology or related majors.

The Ann Fudge Scholarship is open to ambitious undergraduate Black female students who are enrolled in one of the nation’s historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs). 

Taniya Crosby

College/University: Worcester Polytechnic Institute
Major: Mechanical Engineering

Taniya Crosby is a Mechanical Engineering major at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. With a strong passion for learning and exploration, she has chosen to minor in physics and computer science. To further enrich her academic experience, Taniya secured an internship at National Fuel Gas. Additionally, she currently holds a position at the WPI physics department, where she contributes as a dedicated lab instructor, sharing her knowledge and helping fellow students in their scientific endeavors. Furthermore, she has plans to join the esteemed fraternity Alpha Phi Omega (APO), where she can engage in service-oriented activities and connect with like-minded individuals who share her commitment to making a positive impact on society.

Shanice Gray

Hailing from Greensboro, AL, Shanice Gray is pursuing a degree in electrical engineering at Alabama Agricultural & Mechanical University. Her passion for empowering younger students in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) led her to found the Students Visionary Organization, a platform dedicated to providing exposure and opportunities in STEM to aspiring young minds. Shanice's enthusiasm for innovation and problem-solving is evident through her participation in the MIT Online Science Technology Engineering Community. Recognized for her exceptional aspirations in computing and technology, Shanice received the prestigious Northern Alabama Affiliate award from the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT). This recognition further acknowledges her potential and dedication to making significant contributions to the field.

Christian Jacobs is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Business at The Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He actively contributes to animal research at the Southern University Agricultural Research and Extension Center, demonstrating his commitment to advancing knowledge and improving agricultural practices. As an active member of the Southern University MANRRS (Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences) chapter, Christian actively engages with like-minded individuals who share his passion for promoting diversity and excellence in the agricultural field. Christian's dedication to academic excellence is evident through his recognition as a USDA 1890 Land Grant Scholar and his membership in the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Known for his leadership qualities, Christian holds the distinction of being a TOP JAG (Top Jaguar) at Southern University. This position highlights his ability to inspire and motivate others, as well as his commitment to fostering positive relationships and building strong partnerships.

Alfred Murdock III is an Electrical Engineering major at Morgan State University. During the summer of 2022, Alfred had the privilege of interning at Exelon, where he utilized his skills in data analytics to analyze a diverse range of data for the company.
