Kashif Alston
Kashif (Kash) Alston is pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering at South Carolina State University. As a United States Air Force veteran, Kash brings a unique perspective to his academic journey. Kash has demonstrated his dedication to his field through two consecutive summers working as an engineering intern for Volvo Trucks of North America. This experience has enhanced his understanding of real-world applications of mechanical engineering. Kash's engagement in extracurricular activities extends to his participation in competitions. He has participated in the Intelligent Ground Vehicle Robotics World Championship, demonstrating his practical application of engineering skills in a competitive setting. Kash's certifications, including being Universal EPA Certified and a Certified Vehicle Safety and Emissions Inspector, reflect his commitment to professional growth and industry standards.
Tar-U-Way Bright
Tar-U-Way Bright is a Computer Information Systems Major with a Cyber Security concentration at Howard University. He has successfully completed courses in areas such as Database Management, Java programming language, and Information Systems Consulting. In addition to his academic endeavors, Tar-U-Way actively seeks out research opportunities, internships, and work experiences to deepen his understanding and expertise in the field of cybersecurity. His involvement in the Howard University Cyber Security Club and participation in hackathons and programming competitions demonstrates his commitment to skill development. Tar-U-Way intends to leverage his knowledge, skill set, and experiences to pursue a career in IT or computer network security after graduation.
Jared Doran
Jared Doran is pursuing a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Washington. Over the past two years, Jared has undertaken internships at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), where he has gained valuable experience in data research and management, as well as software and hardware skills related to electronics and their functionality. During his first year at PNNL, Jared's work included creating a comprehensive and detailed Excel sheet on Chemical Warfare Agents, which was subsequently published as a technical piece. Beyond his internships, Jared is actively involved in mentoring and volunteering opportunities in Seattle and the University of Washington campus. He is particularly engaged with the non-profit organization Mentoring Urban Students and Teens (M.U.S.T), which focuses on empowering and uplifting black high school students in the Seattle area.
Jonas Goss
Jonas Goss is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at Jackson State University. With a current GPA of 3.81, Jonas's academic achievements have earned him a well-deserved place on the Dean's List at the university. In addition to his academic success, Jonas is actively engaged in community service, having completed over 25 hours of volunteer work through various organizations such as the W.E.B Dubois-Harvey Honors College, Mississippi Votes, and Pearson Foundation Inc. Jonas's exemplary academic performance and commitment to community service have also resulted in his membership in six Honor Societies. Outside of his academic pursuits, Jonas is actively involved in the professional world as a part-time Social Media Consultant for the Fizz corporation.

Symphony Jones is pursuing a Computer Science degree at Howard University. With a strong passion for technology, Symphony aspires to become a software engineer or data scientist in the future. In terms of work experience, Symphony has held hostess/server positions where she has developed valuable soft skills. In addition to her professional experiences, Symphony actively volunteers her time with organizations such as The American Cancer Society. Symphony possesses a well-rounded skill set that combines technical expertise gained through her strong academic background with valuable interpersonal abilities acquired from her work and volunteer experiences.
