Sponsored by Chevron, this scholarship is awarded to high-achieving Black students enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university pursuing a degree in a STEM and business field of study. This scholarship opportunity is open to rising sophomores currently classified as freshmen at the time of their application submission.

Scholarship Details
Five (5) scholarship awardees will receive a three-year, need-based scholarship in the amount of $20,000 to assist with educational expenses for three academic years. The scholarship will be paid directly to the awardees’ college/university and will be disbursed in equal amounts for the awardees’ fall and spring semesters (i.e., $10,000 per semester). Scholars will be required to resubmit their transcripts and meet the 3.0 GPA criteria at the end of the 2022 and 2023 academic years. If a Scholar’s GPA does not meet the criteria, the Scholar will forfeit the scholarship award in 2022-2023 and 2023-2024.
