Sponsored by Johnson & Johnson, this program provides scholarship awards to high-achieving Black students enrolled full-time in an accredited four-year college or university pursuing a degree in a STEM, business, or a health-related field of study. This scholarship opportunity is open to rising juniors currently classified as sophomores at the time of their application submission.
Ten (10) scholarship awardees will receive a two-year, need-based scholarship in the amount of $8,000 to assist with educational expenses for the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 academic years. The scholarship will be paid directly to the awardees’ college/university and will be disbursed in equal amounts for the awardees’ fall and spring semesters (i.e., $4,000 per semester). Scholars will be required to resubmit their transcripts and meet the 3.0 GPA criteria at the end of the 2022 academic year. If a Scholar’s GPA does not meet the criteria, the Scholar will forfeit the scholarship award in 2022-2023.
