Sponsored by Nationwide, this scholarship is awarded to high-achieving Black students attending a four-year college or university pursuing degrees in risk management and insurance, data analytics, insurance, finance, accounting, IT/Technology, Actuarial Science, HR/Organizational Development, Cybersecurity, Computer Information Systems or related fields to the aforementioned areas. This scholarship opportunity is open to rising juniors currently classified as sophomores at the time of their application submission.

Scholarship Details
Ten (10) scholarship awardees will receive a two-year, need-based scholarship in the amount of $12,000 to assist with educational expenses for the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 academic years. The scholarship will be paid directly to the awardees’ college/university and will be disbursed in equal amounts for the awardees’ fall and spring semesters (i.e., $6,000 per semester). Scholars will be required to resubmit their transcripts and meet the 3.5 GPA criteria at the end of the 2022 academic year. If a Scholar’s GPA does not meet the criteria, the Scholar will forfeit the scholarship award in 2022-2023.
